Eelke Kleijn was born on June, 11th, 1983 and now is in the process of receiving a degree in psychology at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. When he was 14, he got his first job - to create a website for a record shop. This enabled him to get acquainted with the studio equipment which they sold. In 2003 Eelke released his first single “4.5 Billion Years” on Segment Records, interestingly named in honour of the prospective age of our planet. This track has drawn attention from legendary producers such as John Digweed and Seb Fontaine. The rest was history.
Naturally Artificial is Eelke Kleijn’s debut album and is released on the well known label Global Underground.
